Linsy Nursery and Primary School is a co-educational school. Our Nursery and Primary school is located in Igbo-Efon Lekki. It was founded on 18th September, 1999 with the aim of providing the best possible basic education following the curriculum guidelines for pre-primary and primary schools from Lagos State Ministry of Education. The school was established so as to bring private education nearer to the people of Igbo-Efon and its environs. We run both the Nigerian and the British Educational Curriculum.
We teach children aged from 2 years in our kindergarten class, up to 11 years in Class 6.
Over the past years, we have worked so hard to develop and maintain the good values in our school, with the aim of encouraging pupils to take greater responsibility for their behaviour and learning, help and support the child’s development physically, mentally, socially and intellectually. The activities designed for the pupils are not just to teach them only but for them to be thinkers and problem solvers thus making them self-dependent.
The core of such values is based on the establishment of an agreed set of principles that underpin all aspects of a school life and work.
The process is developmental and demands a great deal from teachers, head of school and even parents. Positive school values are our main prerequisite for success.
Our years of experience of working with teachers proved to us that embracing good values of education help children to grow into well balanced individuals who can contribute positively into society.
The various British Council trainings through Connecting classroom have helped us achieve a lot through better implementations of the right skills (both leadership and teaching) to maintain a giant stride in the last four years
